Emmanuel, ‘God With Us’

Matthew 1:21-2321  She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people

from their sins.” 22  All this took place to fulfill what the

Lord had spoken by the prophet: 23  “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”

(which means, God with us).

SPECTACTULAR CONCEPTION: (vs.18) “before they came together she was found

to be with child from the Holy Spirit.”

SPECIAL ASSURANCE: (vs.20)“that which is conceived in her is from the

Holy Spirit.”

SACRED ASSIGNMENT: (vs.21) “Jesus, For He will save His people from

their sins.”

Romans 5:6-11 (ESV) 6  For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7  For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8  but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9  Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
