Wyong’s Cultural Heart CBD heritage walk Enjoy a walking tour of Wyong CBD and follow the newly installed heritage signs that showcase the rich history of the Wyong township. The guided tours will be hosted by the Wyong Family History Group and will give you a peek into life in Wyong over the past 100 years. The tours will finish at the historic Royal Hotel - celebrating 130 years in 2019. Registrations are essential and can be made at the Wyong Family History Group stall located in the Wyong Town Park on the night. The history of Wyong and its laneways Take a journey back in time to learn of the places and people that built the town of Wyong. This installation details the timber trade and how it created a strong local economy. See the buildings that pioneering families grew up in and hear the stories of their settlement. Find me on Rankens Court. The Chapman Building installation Local illustrator, Tim Owers has created a story-board to depict the life of Edna Atkins. Edna worked in the confectionary department of the Chapman Building many years ago. The lolly- shop was a little piece of heaven for many of the children in Wyong’s first township. It was filled with sweets of every colour and flavour. Enda’s family have lovingly told her story, especially for the Love Lanes Festival. This artwork is both a celebration and a dedication. To her family, Edna is a mother whose love was timeless. To our community she is a true pioneer. Find Edna on the Chapman Building, Hely Street. Take a stroll down Robley’s Lane and enjoy good times accompanied by great tunes and cold beverages in the licensed bar area. Explore the market precinct or relax on the spacious ‘Chapman Building’ lawn while enjoying the talented aerial performers and the entertaining buskers.

Grand Hotel Licensed Area Featuring live music and delicous food and beverages.

Aerial Circus Performances ‘Circus Avalon’ will be entertaining the crowd with incredible performances at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

Pop into Bakers Lane and listen to the beats on the MADD stage. Bring out your inner child in the Wyong Baptist Church (WBC) Kidz Zone, enjoy Motel Mezza’s licensed chill-out area, get lost in the array of activities and forget about the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

MMADThe Lounge Room is the social enterprise of MMAD (Musicians Making a Difference) – a creative community space in Gosford that exists to create community, culture and belonging while generating funds to support MMAD’s music, dance and mentoring programs with vulnerable youth. Coastwide First National Chill Out Zone Stop by and stay a little longer with plenty of bean bags, cushions and seating to enjoy music from the main stage. Get moving to the music or just sit back under the night sky and take it all in.

Bring your friends and take a photo at our Love Lanes photo booth. Don’t forget to post it on social media and tag #lovelanes #coastwidefn. Plus, visit the team to create your own flower crown for just $5. This year Coastwide will donate all proceeds to ‘Give me 5 for Kids’, supporting our local hospitals children’s wards.

Fish Bowl Arcade Wander through an immersive and interactive arcade as performers set to excite and entertain, stay a while then pop out in Bakers Lane.

Explore an entirely new and exciting part of the festival this year at Wyong Town Park. Visit the stalls of our local community organisations and see how they share the love in our community. Enjoy FREE kid’s art and craft activities, get involved in the drumming circle and enjoy performances on the Wyong Town Park Stage. Roll up and join in the interactive circus activities with ‘Roundabout Circus’.

The Lightness of Love – Digital Installation Experiential media artists Chuck Grotte and Dale Collier have collaborated to present an interactive projection in and around the beautiful garden of the Wyong Town Park. Trees, stairwells and paths will all come to life with colour and movement. The ‘lightness of love’ is a work created to honour those who show us that love is more than something you feel, it is something you do! Come and explore.
