In Morocco, unmarried pregnant women are particularly at risk of prosecution.

In Afghanistan, girls are often taken out of school when they hit puberty.

In Bahrain, judges have complete power to deny women custody of their children.

In South Africa, there are high incidences of sexual and domestic violence against women and children.
