RAMA-CLAMA A complete and qualified valve range

RAMAIts simple and standard conception allows fast and easy maintenancefor a simple management of your valve population. Available options:

The RAMA valve is able to answer to replacement problems that couldoccur during replacement of existing valves.

RAMA "light"Reduced passage valve adapted to functions like draining or venting.Exists in 2 versions:

- Ø 6 Instrumentation valves without hard facing for lines without flow.- Ø 8 Line valves with hard facing for flow passage.

Qualified by EDF, the RAMA "light" valve can be customized on request.

Bellows seal RAMAIts special features :

- Removable seat- Removable bellows-cover sub assembly- Bellows leakage indicator- Straight body or Y pattern

Qualified by the DCN (The French Navy Authority), this valve is recom-mended in severe conditions of use.

The pressure balancing devices EQUIBAR 2 & 3 ways from VELAN allows to avoid overpressure problems that might occur inside the valve body.

The 2 ways EQUIBAR includes a spring valve inside its body whichhelps to limit overpressure inside the valve.This integrated valve allows the isolation of the tubing during periodic tests.The isolation valve uses a RAMA technology dismountable seat.

Thanks to the 3 ways EQUIBAR device, the held up volume is auto-matically in communication with the inlet nozzle that presents thehighest pressure.This system is isolable by means of 2 taps that can be locked.The isolation valve uses a RAMA technology dismountable seat.

The RAMA technology results from the long experience of VELAN in the field of high performanceand nuclear valves. The RAMA valve benefits from the feedback gained in closed co-operation with

the end-users of the nuclear facilities in France and over the world.This globe valve is designed for shut-off and flow control service. It complies with the stringent

requirements of the main worldwide construction codes: ASME, RCCM, OTT...

Its design allows, according to simple operations, in-line maintenance without limitation: packing repair, seat and disc replacement, stem replacement.

In-line servicing is limited to the visual control of the packing tightness.The modular RAMA design ensures the possibility to upgrade the valve without pipe disassembly

allowing to integrate any further technology requirements.
