The meeting started with a silent prayer.

. Principal informed that the accreditation period of the college expireo on

April 17, 2OI7 and the college is under grace period.r New accreditation guidelines were explaineo.. Decided to start the work from the department level.. Took the decision to request for the next NAAC visit tentatively during

October-November 2018.. Committee was informed that the copy of previous SSR was available in the

library and in the IQAC room and the last peer team visit report would be

sent to all departments.. Information was given regarding the orientation class for teaching staff to

be conducted on 06-06-2017.. Plan of action for the current year was formeo.

Pfan of Action for the year 2OL7 - 2018:

1. Special attention should be given to NAAC accreditation process and thepreparation of SSR.

2. Instructions should be given to the departments to allot time for theconsolidation of relevant data among other academic work.

3. Digitalization of attendance should be implemented systematically,

4. Gender sensitivity should be ensured in the campus through programs and

other in itiatives.

5. Proposals have to be submitted to avail ministry funds for the constructionof Girls and Boys Amenity centers in the campus.

6. Requests should be given to the college management for the constructionof the new auditorium and the renovation of the existing one.

7. More environment friendly initiatives should be implemented.8. Wheel ramps and other infrastructural modifications have to be made for

the differently abled students.

9. ASAP, SSP, WWS, Noon-Meal Scheme and Student Support Fund can be

continued and request for the new job oriented PG course has to be

submitted to the government.

10. Cells, committees and clubs are to be motivated to enhance the

effectiveness of their activities.

o Took the decision to empower girr students by giving them regurar trainingin "Kalari,, and,,yoga,,. Suggestions were maoe on ensuring activeparticipation of maximum number of students.

o Decided to give directions to ail departments to conduct crasses to improvethe quarity of students and to make them aware of the need to protect theenvironment.

The meeting commenced with a silent prayer.

o Decided to install new bins for separately collecting and processing waste.r Took the decision to take part in "Haritha Keralam,, plan of the Govt. of

Kerala. The principal opined that allthe stakeholders of the college mustparticipate in the drive which was supported by other members.

o Progress of the Master plan preparation was discussed. Decision was raKento submit the same to the Minister for Education tentatively on June 13.Inauguration of Girls'Amenity Centre was also planned for the day.

o Decided to give request to the Minister for Education for new iob orientedPG cou rses.

o The members agreed upon submitting application for raising fund fromRUSA.

o Decision was taken to give more quality related classes to the faculty. Theprincipal informed the committee that he would invite prof. JohnKattakkayam and Dr. Antony palakkal for the preparation of NAAC

orientation.o Decided to prepare a feedback evaluation report.
