Selected area, currently used as parking, represents strategic and mending point for the city of Ferrara. It borders a part of the Old Town and riverfront area, for which is planned functional and environmental requalification. The project has as a goal to create a welcoming point for tourists and attractions for citizens thanks to the construction of four buildings. A STATION for buses and taxis, an underground parking, ready to accommodate the different types of tourists. The PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION, until now, with no official headquarter. A SHOPPING CENTER and an AUDITORIUM where citizens and tourist can spend their free time during the day.The permeability of the area is guaranteed by promenades and passages inside and outside of the buildings. The area will also be accessible from the river due to the renovations of the tourist port.
