Lucas Oil Stadium

Project Profile:

Best known as the home of the Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium is also home to concerts, conven-tions, exhibitions, and trade shows. It covers 1.8 million square feet and features 137 corporate suites, two club lounges, meeting rooms, and exhibit halls.

Building Challenge:

Production and delivery on an accelerated schedule

Doors with extended fire ratings were required to meet code inside the building at 45 and 90 minutes. Doors were pre-finished and UV-cured for a consistent, beautiful appearance.

VT’s Contribution:VT Industries supplied nearly 600 flush wood veneer doors for the stadium. The doors featured a sapele veneer with a custom finish.
