With more libraries incorporating eReaders intotheir library collections, librarians need tohave an understanding of every aspect of thetechnology. Also, librarians can use Lulu to
publish their own eBooks with informationabout the library, it’s services and
resources, etc. directly onto eReaders in thelibrary.

Getting started with Lulu
Lulu can be used on any browsercurrently installed on your computer
Lulu’s website is:www.lulu.com
On the Lulu homepage sign up for an account:
ClickHere!
Fill out required information andclick Sign Up button
When you log in to your account forthe first time you will see your
dashboard
On your dashboard,you can see how manycopies of your bookhave sold as well as
the revenue
This section notesbooks you have
ordered from otherLulu publishers
Click on Start a New Project in theMy Recent Projects to begin
Under books click on eBookto begin
Add a titlefor your book
Don’t forget yourname!
Pick a medium tosell your eBook
Click here whenyou are done!
Browse and upload yourdocument here
Click here onceyour file is
uploaded
Look! Lulu is turning your documentinto a file for publishing!
After your document is turned into an eBook file, you canchoose how you want it to look. Choose a theme, add
