eAgility is our new electronic agility show management system. Competitors can book in at ringside simply by selecting their entry details from a list. The list can be sorted by RO or by handler name. Name changes, early runs and queue hopping can be easily arranged by the ring party. Our Chopal (pronounced “Showpal”) system allows competitors to view live agility show information via mobile devices. The show information includes Ring status (closed, walking, started, paused etc.), calling to, start and resume times, number of dogs entered and remaining in each class, Live scores and rankings. Most popular device types (IPhone, Ipad, Samsung Galaxy… etc) are supported. In fact, any wireless capable device with a browser should work though some browers work better than others. We recommend that you install Safari or Google. The system does not required a good phone signal nor connection to the internet. Instead, we provide a Wi-Fi network which you can connect to as follows…

There will be no other classes on Championship day. Please come along and cheer on the competitors and help to make it a special day. The bar will be open from lunch time and there will be a free first come first served hog roast (with vegetarian option) after the finals followed by a Ceilidh in the evening to mark our Silver Anniversary and thank all those who have supported us over the years.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CLASSESIn the following definitions of classes first prizes or other prize wins are those gained in standard classes at any Kennel Club licensed Championship Agility, Premier Agility, Open Agility or Limited Agility Shows (i.e. special classes and invitational events excepted). Only a first place with a clear round completed within the course time set by the judge will count towards grade progression.

Standard classes may be scheduled for Agility Shows as Agility classes or Jumping classes. All standard classes must contain the Weaving Poles obstacle. Standard Agility classes must contain the following elements: "A Ramp", Dog Walk and See-Saw. With this proviso classes are defined as follows:-

Class Structure. A Class may either be held as a Graded Class or a Combined Class. A Graded Class may be scheduled for one or more consecutive grades with separate results and awards issued for each grade. A Combined Class may be scheduled for more than one consecutive grade with one overall set of results.

Progression. Progression from each grade will require one Agility win or three Jumping wins in standard classes at that grade, except that progression from Grade 5 will require 3 wins at Grade 5, one of which must be an agility class. Progression from Grade 6 will require 4 wins at Grade 6, two of which must be agility classes. Results from Combined Classes will only count towards progression from the dog’s current grade.

Points Progression. At the handler’s discretion a dog may progress up to Grade 4 by winning 100 points at each grade, using the Agility Warrant points scheme, Regulation K3.c refers, except that there is no requirement for a minimum number of Agility points. If this method of progression is selected, the handler must ensure the Show Secretary signs the dog’s Agility Record Book at the first show entered at the higher grade. There is no time limit on this progression. However, once a dog has progressed, it cannot return to a previous grade.Progression on points must be done prior to the close of entries. It is not possible to change a grade on points once the entries have closed.

STANDARD CLASSESOnly first prizes and points gained in standard classes at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows may be used for progression through the classes. (A dog is only eligible for one grade.) In defining the eligibility of the owner or handler for grade 1, the three jumping wins and points progression referred to in the definition apply only to one dog and not an accumulation of dogs.

Grade 1 (Elementary)

SPECIAL CLASSESSocieties may schedule classes other than those defined above as “Special classes”. The eligibility for “Special” classes must be defined by the Society and included in the schedule. The word “Special” must be included in the title of the class. Where special classes are classified for older and/or inexperienced dogs, the height of the hurdles, the A-ramp, and the dog walk, and the length of the long jump, may be reduced below the dimensions specified in these regulations, in which case such dimensions must be included in the class definition in the show schedule.

For these purposes a competition shall be defined as all classes covered within the same schedule. In the event that a dog becomes eligible for the next grade at a particular show, after the entry for that show has been sent, it is the competitor’s responsibility to notify the show secretary at least 14 days before the date of the show (ie 11th June 2016). The dog will then be moved into the appropriate class(es) for the next grade. The dog must be moved into the corresponding number of classes as were entered at the lower grade. If

there are fewer or no classes available for the next grade the competitor should be offered a refund of the relevant entry fees. 25 Should circumstances so dictate the Society, in consultation with the judges may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to the Kennel Club. 26 In the event that the show is cancelled owing to unforeseen circumstances, on receipt of a request for a refund and a stamped addressed envelope submitted by the competitor to the Show Secretary within one month of the show day or days cancelled, the club/society will refund fees, less reasonably incurred expenses, within 3 months of such cancellation. . 27 Except for mobility aids, nothing shall be carried in the hand while the dog is under test and food shall not be given to the dog while in the ring. 28 Should the judge deem a rerun is required, any result and/or faults gained in the previous run must be discounted. 29 Separate entry forms must be completed by each owner and must be signed by the owner or his authorised agent in accordance with the conditions

specified thereon. Entry forms must be accompanied with the appropriate fees. 30 (Not applicable) 31 Competition of Dogs Suffering from Contagious or Infectious Disease - No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete. Competitors infringing the Regulation will be liable to be fined and/or dealt with under Kennel Club Rule A 42. 32 It is the competitor’s responsibility to be available for their class and running order. Competitors must run as close to their running order as

possible. Failure to do so may be reported to the Kennel Club. In Championship classes competitors must run in exact order specified in the Regulations.

33 Animals in Event No animal other than one officially entered shall be brought into the precincts of the event during its continuance, except any dogs registered to assist the disabled, or dogs required for educational or instructional purposes or by permission of the General Committee. However, at the discretion of the show society, a dog brought to the show by a spectator may be permitted into the precincts of the dog show, with the proviso that those in charge of the dog sign a declaration confirming the dog is free from disease and that the dog will be kept under proper control at all times. 34 A pay on the day class will be held each day. 35 A practice ring may be available to dogs entered for competition at the show, if space allows. This ring must be supervised by a responsible adult with agility knowledge. 36 Welfare of Dogs An exhibitor (or competitor) whose dog is entered at a Kennel Club licensed event should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met, and should not knowingly put their dogs’ health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. A breach of this Regulation may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations. 37 All dogs will be entered at this show at their owner’s risk and whilst every care will be taken, the Committee or its Agents, or Servants will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury, however caused, to dogs, persons or property at this show. 38 Any alterations to this schedule will be notified on the Agilitynet web site and Agility Forum if time permits. This will be deemed sufficient notice. 39 Any person failing to clean up after their dog or dogs, driving or riding at excessive speed or behaving in an aggressive or abusive manner will be asked to leave the show.
