• 1910 – Incorporated on February 8
• 1911 – Adopted Scout Oath and Scout Law
• 1917-1918 – Scouts’ War Effort
– Liberty bonds and war savings stamps totaling more than $355m
– Collected 100 rail cars full of nutshells and peach pits for gas
masks
• 1930 – Cub Scout program launched
• 1937 – First national jamboree
– 27,232 attended during height of the Great Depression
• 1941-1945 – Scouts’ War Effort
– Collected 30 million pounds of rubber in a two-week drive
