Prom tllshop Hestarlck's address thfollowing Is taken:
Acts lx:3C, "This woman was fullof good wotks and aluvedccds whichBho did."
Act vl:C: "mil of faith and of theHoly Ohost."
The first describes tho one In whosnmemory this senile Is held and tliosecond tells the totirco of the Insplta-tlo- n
and the power of her life. Tho!jt gives tlio cause the first the effect.Wo often hear In thli day somethinglike this "It does not matter whnt joubelieve as long as you do right " Ifthis means that right action Is of moreImportance than any i.iero profession
u1Il'f then " senslblo man will Inthis day deny It. A rlsht acting unbeliever is better In tho sight of milland of (lod than a vicious believer. But if the words are intended to meanthat fight belief is of little or no im-
portance in life theu they are utterlyftt,8- - Anyone who thinks must reio, nlze that fulfil Is by far the moM powerful factor In human life and charactcr.
lint Clod has ceased to teach uby tho lives of saints. Up through thecenturies the Church hat never beenwithout her saints. Among that greatimiltltudo which no man can numberaro not only patrian lis, prophets, aposties, marors, but there are our owudear departed of our own ago andknowledge, who have lived by faith, who have struggled on and have tolledand suffered, dlreited and made steadfust b a living faith.
Faith! Why It Is as natural ns lovuoud ns universal! It Is the Xoul seek-ing Its own. It Is the spirit of manfIn.Tlnr ttu nmnhv l I.A ....l-- t. ' e .. ,
