Monthly Newsletter
July 30, 2010
Dear Residents, Family and interested parties,
I am writing to inform you of a new dental care program at Lake Winona
Manor that will be available to residents beginning in September, 2010.
We have entered into an agreement with Apple Tree Dental, a non-profit
organization to offer comprehensive oral healthcare at our facility. Apple
Tree is an organization that began in 1985 to address the dental needs of
nursing home residents in the Twin Cities.
We are very pleased to offer convenient on-site services to our residents.
On-site care means residents will be able to receive the care they need in
the comfort of their own environment. If you would like more
information about them, you can visit their website at
www.appletreedental.org.
Apple Tree accepts most dental plans including Medical Assistance, for the
services covered. Treatment begins only after approval by either the
resident or their representative. If you have any questions about our new
dental services, please call me at 507-457-4335.
Sincerely,
Mary Miller-Hyland, RN, BBA, NHA
Winona Senior Services Administrator
