INTRO

lykke bang is nordic design – simplicity femininity and graphical in colors and patterns.

My products are a mix of art and design lovingly made in Denmark to brighten the homes of unique individuals everywhere.

Everyday life & lykke bang products are entwined.The products I design; pillows, tea cosies, cuttingboards and more – are to be used in your daily life. This is a very conscious decision for me.But why make more of these ‘everyday’-products?Here is my answer: I design and make these products because I believe in an aesthetic beauty and simplicity that many people can relate to.

lykkebang is located in a fantastic old rear building (baghus) in the part of Copenhagen called Nørrebro, at the studio Atelier Plexus.Here all prints are designed, colors mixed and handprinted products made.

All handprinted coffee and tea cosies + pillows are printed and sewn in Denmark.All digitalprinted coffee and tea cosies + pillows are printed in Sweden, sewn in Den-mark.

I do hope you can feel the thoughts, love and energy that has gone into all my prints and products.

Care & wash

Pillows:lykke bang pillows are made of 100% eco-tex cotton - a woven ½-panama. The cotton has been treated with a anti-dirt surface-treatment.All handprinted pillows are printed by lykke bang with environmentally compatible pigmentcolors. The patterns and colors on the pillows, can therefore, not always be exactly identical. All digitalprinted pillows are printed on 100 % eco-tex cotton with environmentally compatible pigmentcolors or reactive colors.Care and wash: Handprinted: turn pillowcase inside out and wash on 40 to 60 degrees celsius. Digitalprinted: turn pillowcase inside out and wash at 30 degrees - gentle wash.Do not tumbledry. Ironing is possiblePillowsizes: ø35 cm - ø40 cm - 50x50 cm - 40x70 cm


Tea and coffee cosies:lykke bang tea & coffee cosies are made of 100% eco-tex cotton - a woven ½ panama. The cotton has been treated with an anti-dirt surface-treatment. The inside is 100% polyester and keeps the heat from leaving the cosy effectively.

All handprinted cosies are printed with environmentally compatible pigmentcolors. The patterns and colors on the cosies can therefore, not always be exactly identical.All digitalprinted cosies are printed on 100 % eco-tex cotton with environmentally compatible pigmentcolors or reactive colors. Care and Wash:Handprinted: wash on 40 to 60 degrees celsius and stretch gently in wet conditionDigitalprinted: wash at 30 degrees - gentle wash and stretch gently in wet condition.Do not tumbledry. Ironing is possible

Kitchenasseccories:All prints are designed by lykke bang and printed on matte none coated 60-gram pa-per. They are then pressed into the different styles of cuttingboards, trivets & butter-ingboards. All products are handmade, one by one, and therefore they can not always be exactly identical. The butteringboards have a melamine based surface which is sustainable against heat and alcohol and also suitable for dishwashing. The trivets and cuttingboards have a melamine based surface which is sustainable against heat and alcohol and are made of HDF-material and cannot sustain dish wash-ing but can of cause be washed ordinarily.
