Super Start Scholarship – Southern State Community College

Designed to offer high school seniors the opportunity to accelerate their college goals by taking up to six credits tuition free during the summer semester immediately following the completion of their high school career. The scholarship is non-transferrable and can only be used during the summer semester. Requirements: restricted to graduating high school seniors with minimum 2.75 GPA. Deadline: May 1

Seniors RECOMMENDATION FORMS: No letter of recommendation will be written without this form.

Please make sure you have turned in your form to Mrs. Hejazifar. these can be found on the Google Classroom for Seniors

College Applications: Take advantage of the 3 college visits. Application Process:

1. DEADLINES: if you still plan on applying to a school make sure to check their application DEADLINES.

2. NOTIFY THE GUIDANCE OFFICE once you have completed and SUBMITTED your application! This is IMPORTANT. Your application will not be processed unless an OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT is sent directly from the High School.

3. Should begin receiving notice of admission. Narrow down your choices by comparing your financial aid package from each school.

4. Send ACT scores directly to the college through www.actstudent.org Financial Aid – Completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
