Children’s BooksAles de Paper Collection (Paper Wings Collection)

Books designed to stimulate children’s interest in the natural environment.

Stories that tell us about nature... and its protagonists.

The Learning section brings us close to science... and explains all the difficult words!

Ales de paper is our way of bringing to young readers our love of nature and our expertise in the field of natural history books. The main aim of the collection is to present children aged 5 to 12 with original stories set in the natural world, encouraging them to discover and protect the environment.

The collection features an original story followed by a learning section that offers educational information about different science subjects. This approach seeks to encourage learning by stimulating the imagination and presenting scientific facts.

What makes the Ales de Paper series unique in the world of children’s books is the double emphasis on literature and science. The fictional story centres around characters drawn from the natural world, such as talking whales, fugitive parrots and hidden forest treasures.

The learning section expands on the story with educational facts: Who carries the pollen? How can we help save the whales? What are the most amazing birds on earth?

All titles include full colour illustrations throughout to help children appreciate and enjoy the natural world around them. All the stories have been written by renowned Spanish authors, and the educational texts have been accurately prepared by professional biologists. The books are published in Catalan and/or Spanish.

The collection is structured in three series according to age groups. The Orange Series, for childen aged 5 to 7, the Blue Series, for children aged 7 to 10, and the Green Series, for children aged 10 to 12.
