MASS INTENTIONS FOR THE WEEK This Week in the Parish
Vocation Views Strangers come to Philip with the simple request: “Sir, we would like
to see Jesus.” In your actions and words, are you able to show the love of Christ to the
stranger in your midst? (John 12:21)
Stewardship A Way of Life When Jesus heard about the
illness of His friend, Lazarus, He responded, “This illness does not lead to death; rather it is for God’s glory, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” Every aspect of our lives-our sufferings as well as our gifts-can, if surrendered to Christ, lead to blessings for ourselves and others. God has taught us that you cannot love without giving. That includes the giving of our time, talent and treasure.
PILLAR OF FAITH “Adoration will heal our Church and thus our nation and thus our world...Adoration touches
everyone and everything… When we adore, we plug into infinite dynamism and power. Adoration is more
powerful for construction than nuclear bombs are for destruction.” There are several open time spots in Queen
of Peace’s Adoration schedule. We are in dire NEED of people willing to commit to ONE hour of their time in the
presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus wants you to share your time with him. Please call the parish office for
more information, 483-2134. (one time spot in desperate need is Wednesdays at 4-5 & 5-6 pm)

ATTENTION QUEEN OF PEACE PARISHIONERS!!!
Thank you to all parishioners who have jumped in so graciously
with the cleaning of the church since we do not have regular
cleaning staff. It has helped tremendously, but to get caught up on
a thorough cleaning, Monday March 19th has been designated as
our Spring Church Cleaning Day! In preparation for Holy Week,
many areas of the church need extra cleaning. Come join us from 3
pm until the church is shining brightly. Many hands will make this
project fast and easy.
What happens if you eat yeast and shoe polish? Every morning you will rise and shine!
