The New Evangelization invites us to be better stewards of our faith, to give positive, courageous, joyful witness to others who have turned away from their relationship with Jesus. Frequent Numbers/ Numeros Frequentes

In today’s Gospel, we see how Jesus sent his Apostles out two by two. In this spirit, the Society of St. Vincent de

Paul members “go out two by two” to visit those who are poor and needy in their homes. It is there, in the family

setting, that Vincentians listen, offer humble advice, and render assistance.

Know that the members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul bring your gift directly to the poor and

suffering in our parish and the city of Round Rock.

FOURTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

YEAR OF FAITH/

AÑO DE LA FE

Because of science and technology we have access to more information that can influence our lives and often leave us with more questions than answers. In the midst of those questions, the Church offers her guidance, wisdom, and principles to help us discern God’s will and his call to love. How are you using the teachings of the Church to help you determine what is true and useful for your faith journey? In what ways are your human efforts helping to make the world a better place?

CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING

In today’s Gospel, Jesus sends the disciples out in pairs, instructing them “Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this household.’” In this day and age, how do we, as disciples, bring peace?
