BIBLICAL NUTRITION SUPPORT GROUP... On Tuesday - May 8th at 6:30 pm - we’re hosting a pot luck meal and support group meeting for those who want to adopt a plant-based diet or want to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diet. We ask that you bring a dish that is 100% plant based, No meat or dairy products and preferable no refined white flour or refined sugar to share with the group. Afterwards, Olin will lead a discussion focusing on biblical principles (and scientific research) for nourishing the body God has entrusted to each of us based upon principles found in Genesis 1:29.

PRESERVING TRADITIONAL VALUES… On Tuesday - May 8th, North Carolina voters will be able to vote in favor of or in opposition of the proposed constitutional amendment on marriage. The proposed amendment would read:

"Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State. This section does not prohibit a private party from entering into contracts with another private party; nor does this section prohibit courts from adjudicating the rights of private parties pursuant to such contracts." The importance of marriage cannot be overstated. A team of family scholars concluded - “Marriage is an important social good, associated with an impressively broad array of positive outcomes for children and adults alike. On the other hand, when marriages break down or when marriage is stripped of its special character, everyone suffers. Because what happens in every family can impact society for better or worse - WHAT HAPPENS TO MARRIAGE MATTERS!” This is OUR moment in the HISTORY of our BELOVED state. Join the other 63 million people from the 30 other states who have VOTED to PROTECT and PRESERVE the TRADITIONAL VALUE of MARRIAGE!

MOTHER’S DAY OFFERING... This special offering provides the opportunity for us to share the compassion of Christ with patients by lifting the anxious

burden of hospital bills for those in serious financial need. Seeing the evidence of God’s love in a very real way, their lives are changed in heartfelt gratitude. For many, their faith in Jesus Christ is strengthened and renewed. For others, seeds of faith are planted as a witness to His love. Your GIVING to the Mother’s Day Offering puts Christ’s love into action. Last year, YOU gave $ 1,401. PLEASE

PRAY...and PLEASE GIVE...so GOD’S LOVE may flow through US and His Spirit will LIFT BURDENS and

PROVIDE HOPE! We’ll receive this offering on May 6th and 13th!!
