Jaykar secured 1st Rank, Ms. Ngangbam Reeta secured 6th Rank, Ms. Poonam Chettri secured 7th Rank and Mr. Vikas Y Jaykar secured 9th Rank in Savitribai Phule Pune University examination held in April 2015. Prof. Muzaffar Shaikh, Chairman (LMC), A K K New Law Academy, Pune felicitated and congratulated the rank holders. On this occasion Ms. Shahnaz Kaushar, Asst Professor of our college was also felicitated for passing NET examination.

7 Days N.S.S. Special Winter Camp at Ambadvet Village

A K K New Law Academy had organized 7 Days N.S.S. Special Winter Camp at Ambadvet Village Taluka Mulshi, Dist Pune from 5th Dec to 11th Dec 2016. Inaugural Ceremony was held on 5th Dec 2016 Mrs. Anita K Nagare, Sarpanch was Chief guest of the function & Mr. Sunil S Amle, Upsarpanch presided the function. In this seven days Camp various activities were conducted such as, Dental checkup, Free Legal Aid Camp, Physiotherapy camp, cleanliness of village, Tree plantation, Tap distribution through NGO by Mr. Tillu and guest lectures for students.

A K K New Law Academy had organized Free Legal Aid & Advice Camp Ambadvet Village Taluka Mulshi, Dist Pune. The object for the camp was for the legal awareness for the villagers.

The Chief Guest for the function was Mrs. Sunayna Vibhandik Pingale, Civil Judge Senior Division and Addl Chief Judicial Magistrate, President of the function was Mrs. Pratibha T. Shejwalkale, Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board Pune Guest of honour for the function was Adv. Sharda Wadekar, Public Prosecutor Motor Vehicle, Pune, Adv B. R. Choudhari, Mr. Kisanrao Nagare, President Nationalist Congress, Ambadvet Village and Prin. Dr. Rasheed Shaikh were also present.

Lakshminath, Pro Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, Chanakya National Law University, Patna and president of the function was Mr. Sikandar Patel, Member (LMC) A K K New Law Academy, Pune. The degree distribution was given by the auspicious hands of Prof. Dr. A. Lakshminath. Prin. Dr. Rasheed Shaikh was also present.

“Pinnacle 2017 – 11th Inter Law Collegiate Festival “

A K K New Law Academy had organized the Pinnacle 2017 -11th Inter Law Collegiate Festival. In this two weeks various activities of academics, sports and cultural programme were conducted. All students studying in law colleges of Pune University from Pune, Ahmednagar and Nasik were called for the event. Nearly 750 students participated in the event. On 28th Jan 2017 the Grand Finale and Prize Distribution function was organized. The Chief Guest of the function was Ms. Kashmira Kulkarni, a well known Marathi Film Actress. The function was presided over by Mr. Latif Magdum, Hon. Secretary, M. C. E. Society, Pune. In this Pinnacle 2017 the Championship trophy was won by DES’s Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune.

Book Exhibition of A K K New Law Academy

A K K New Law Academy had organized a Book Exhibition for the students of Law College as well as for the Azam Campus students. The objective of the exhibition was to raise awareness of library collection. To encourage and develop reading habit of the users. To display the hidden library collection before the library users particularly new books.

Training Programme

A K K New Law in co-ordination with Maharashtra State Commission for Women organized Training Programme on University Grant Commission (Prevention, Prohibition of Sexual harassment of Women Employees & students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015. The Resource person for the said programme was Miss. Jacinta Bastian, Asst Professor, A K K New Law Academy and Former Chairperson (ICC) Azam Campus.

Jail Visit

A K K New Law Academy had organized Jail visit for the final year student of 5th year B.A. LL.B and 3rd year LL.B. The student visited jail alongwith teaching staff of our college on 25th March 2017 as a part of practical training syllabus.
