Supporting technological advancement through the publication of limited-distribution technology in aerospace propulsion and energetic materials research and development
The JANNAF Journal of Propulsion and Energetics provides a forum for members of the propulsion community to submit limited-distribution manuscripts for peer review and formal publication. Established by the JANNAF Interagency Propulsion Committee in 2006, the journal is an annual publication now in its seventh year of production.
The JANNAF Journal is comprised of scholarly technical papers, written by distinguished authors from across all segments of the propulsion industry. Complimentary copies are distributed at the spring and winter JANNAF meetings; copies are also available for purchase year-round. The journal provides scientists, researchers, and other technical specialists the opportunity to share information that would otherwise go unpublished, allowing readers access to controlled data that could further their own work.
The JANNAF Journal of Propulsion and Energetics covers a broad range of topics in the areas of systems and components, propulsion and energetic materials technology, and systems applications. Full-length papers are accepted for review and publication on an ongoing basis. Certain issues may be devoted to, or include a special section on, papers of a specific technical topic; these issues/sections will involve the services of a guest editor.
The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering Energetics Research Group publishes the JANNAF Journal of Propulsion and Energetics. Distribution is to qualified subscribers only, in accordance with DoD Directive 5230.25, “Withholding of Unclassified Technical Data from Public Disclosure.”
For information on submitting a manuscript, please contact Journal Managing Editor Benjamin Schwantes at 410-992-7303, ext. 227, or by email to [email protected]. To discuss technical matters, please email Technical Advisor David Owen at [email protected]. Additional information about the journal is provided at www.jannaf.org.
