TPA acelerando así el movimiento de flexión plantar

Los estudios muestran que un aumento de la tensión aquílea derivada de la contracción gastrosólea va asociada a un aumento de la tensión de la
fascia plantar. Éste pico de tensión alcanza su valor máximo justo antes de la elevación del talón durante el ciclo de la marcha.

RELACIÓN MECÁNICA.-
Mostraron que la disminución el módulo de Young de la fascia
plantar (fasciotomia parcial) produce un aumento del stress
que soportan lig calcaneo-cuboideso largo y corto y lig spring.
Cuando este módulo es cero (fasciotomia total) se produce
aumento importante del stress de M2 y M3 y del lig calcaneo-
cuboideo en su inserción cuboidea.
Se observó pronación de mediopié y disminución de la altura
de ALI.

Monteagudo and Maceira et al: Chronic plantar fasciitis: plantar fasciotomy versus gastrocnemius recesion. International Orthopaedics 37: 1845-1850, 2013.
El abordaje quirúrgico de la fasciopatiía plantar crónica por
medio de la liberación gastronemia vs fasciotomia plantar
proximal, se presenta como una opción terapéutica de
primera elección en esta entidad patológica.
Los resultados del estudio muestran que la elección de la liberación
gastronemia en el tratamiento de la FPC se obtuvo mejores resultados sobre:
• VAS Y AOFAS.
• REINCORPORACIÓN LABORAL Y DEPORTIVA.
• ESTIRAMIENTOS YTRABAJO EXCÉNTRICO GASTROSÓLEO.
• COMPLICACIONES POSTQX.
