!MA TSUN KUEN INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP 2014 !TAIJIQUAN SCHOOL MA TSUN KUEN TRIESTE is pleased to announce that this year's summer meeting will be held again in Sappada. !
� !There are few changes from the previous year. The site is not only beautiful, but well suited to the practice with a a very pleasant temperature for the month of July. !Sappada is a town in the province of Belluno on the border between Veneto, Friuli and Austria, in the extreme east of the Dolomites. !The village is situated at an altitude of 1250 meters above sea level and has about 1500 inhabitants, who in the summer and winter seasons are multiplying. The town extends lengthwise through the whole valley, from east to west, and is flanked by the river Piave,
which has its own sources within the municipal area. !The surrounding environment is Dolomite, with mountains that reach up to 2700m (Monte Peralba, at whose feet was created just the Piave), coniferous forests and meadows that are mowed in the summer to give hay to the cows while the winter Whitening allowing skiers of all specialties to practice their favorite sport. !There are some features that are typical in particular of Sappada which arise from its origins. First, the dialect is a variant of Austrian dialect
that has remained intact over the centuries because there were no more large of a linguistic influences on the Austrian side. The name "Plodn" is the correspondent of "Sappada" in the local dialect.
!!Other feature is the conformation of the country divided into fifteen townships, some newer and some older that over time have expanded to form the town it is today. Walking through the village you can still see many old houses of wood that have remained more or less intact: in particular, are located in the villages that make Sappada old. !The main resource of Sappada is tourism, both summer and winter and there is a growing commitment in welcoming guests who come here to relax and breathe a little 'clean air, in addition to the care of entertainment facilities such as ski lifts, sports, mountain huts and mountain trails. !!!THE HOTEL !Hotel Sorgenti del Piave is a beautiful 3 stars Hotel situated in a quiet and panoramic position in the hamlet Cima Sappada. !
� !!!The rooms (single, double and triple) are equipped with private bathroom, TV with SKY programs, telephone, free Wi-Fi internet and a balcony from which you will be able to admire a unique landscape. !In the restaurant the chef will spoil you with a wide range of local, Mediterranean and international dishes, prepared with selected ingredients from the local farms. Themed evenings. The restaurant of this hotel in Sappada is an ideal location for banquets as well as for lunches or dinners for larger groups. !In summer, the hotel organizes also walking tours in the nature with qualified guides. !

!PRACTICE PLACE !We have green zones and meadows around the hotel but... everything is green in Sappada!! so the place to practice this year will not be a problem. We have shade and even some people in the village liked very much our intention to organize an international meeting in your town. In case of rain if the room offered by the hotel were not enough, the same City Council offers free room. !!

GETTING THERE !By car !From Veneto you can take the A27 Mestre-Belluno until the last exit of Longarone (Pian di Vedoia), then continue on the main road SS51 (Alemagna) for Pieve di Cadore. Near Auronzo we turn to St. Stephen and here to Sappada. !Those arriving from Friuli Venezia Giulia (Venice zone) instead follows the A28 Palmanova-Tarvisio and exit at Carnia / Tolmezzo; here continue on the road 52 passes for Ovaro and Rigolato up to Sappada. !By train !The nearest station is Calalzo di Cadore where you can take the bus called DolomitiBus. It goes Sappada directly and in less than an hour has arrived, from the Friuli side go down to the station of Carnia and here by bus to Sappada. Alternatively you can take the train to Udine and from there continue on the direct lines of SAF. !By plane !The nearest airports are Venice-Treviso and Ronchi dei Legionari (Trieste). !!DISTANCES IN KILOMETERS !!Venice: 164 km (2 hours) !Trieste Airport/ Ronchi: 132km (1 hour 41 m) !Berlin: 929 km (9 hours 21m) !Freiburg: 549 km (6 hours 54 m) !!There is the possibility of a shuttle from the Venice airport to Sappada. (will communicate the price as soon as possible) !
