Darren Strong from Strong Chiropractic, announces a new, sophisticated computerized decompressiontable that allows the spine to be gently stretched andrelaxed for spinal decompression therapy. The pattern of alternating pulling andrelaxing creates vacuum-like pressurewhich allows disc material that washerniated or protruded to be pulledback in the disc over time. Patients will notice a reduction of theirpain during these treatment sessions. Stopin today and ask about the newtable and how you can benefit.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIESIn old North Sydney Town,in old North Sydney town.Home of my childhood, was old North Sydney Town.
As I think back now to many years ago, with my Dad and my Poppyto the fishing ground we'd go,in their yellow dory shelteredfrom the breeze, keeping time with the engine,a childhood memory.
Now those days are over, with a message on the key, there'll be no more fishing inNorth Sydney by the sea,no more yellow dory,no more hand line,no more childhood memoriesvictim of the timeno more childhood memoriesvictim of the time.

Jonathan Coulton - “SomeGuys” - This album came to myattention out of the blue-and itwhat a pleasant surprise itturned out to be. It’s hard tosummarize an artist’s bio whenit’s detailed-let’s just say thateven at an early age AmericanJonathan Coulton wascaptivated by music; over theyears he did the conventionalartist thing, but that grind got tohim and hemoved intob u i l d i n gdatabases. In hisspare time hecontinued to writesongs, ones thatwere mostly techbased subjectmatter wise-andwas asked toperform at a techconference. The rest is history.Coulton found a way to godirectly to his fans with hismusic (from his website-toquote) ‘“he even adopted theCreative Commons: shared art, uploaded online, liberated fromtraditional copyright. WhenCoulton walked out into the coldMaine sunshine, heremembers, it was like my headwas on fire. I was like, holy shit, something is happening!”Suddenly, anyone could publishmusic. Between HTML, MP3s,and Paypal, you could build yourown label. Podcasts were radioshows. The internet had justbegun to blink fully awake, butalready it was a tangle ofcreativity, turning strangers intoa community.” So, over a dozen
albums later we have this-”Some Guys” (yes, a play on theRolling Stones “Some Girls”album title). I love the music ofthe 1970’s and what reallycaught my attention (and myears) with this album was howamazing Jonathan’s coverversions of classic 70’s songsare; the album starts off with theAmerica song “Sister GoldenHair” and it is the best take I’veever heard-next to the original. If that perfection wasn’t enough,Coulter’s cover of “Wildfire” (byMichael Martin Murphy) is
a b s o l u t e l ystunning-this is a‘must-hear’ song.In the 1970’s thehit maker GilbertO’Sullivan hadquirky touches ina lot of his songs.They wereu p t e m p onumbers melody-wise, but carried
a deeper sadness that beliedthe melody. Jonathan’s versionof “Alone Again (Naturally)” hereis perfect. To continue, Bread’s“Make It With You”, the BeeGees “How Deep Is Your Love”and “If You Could Read My Mind”by Gordon Lightfoot all get theroyal treatment in thiscollection. Fittingly, the albumfinishes off with an amazingversion of Dan Fogelberg’s hitsong “Same Old Lang Syne”; it’sa song of remembrance, thingsheld, things lost-and how youcan never go back to the olddays. The 14 songs in thiscollection are pure diamonds-all placed in a golden setting.
