MACH DIESEL T

MOTOR OIL

Technical Data Sheet

PRODUCT DISCRIPTION MACH DIESEL T is a multifunctional crankcase lubricant for highly rated medium-speed diesel engines operating

on residual fuel. MACH DIESELT is designed for conditions of moderate oil stress.

APPLICATIONS Medium-speed industrial or marine propulsion and auxiliary engines, burning residual fuel oils, which create

conditions of moderate oil stress. These conditions usually occur:

in engine designs more than 5 years old, or

where oil consumption is 1g/kWh or more, or

in newer designs where load factors are predominantly 85% or less, or

where fuels with sulphur <3% are in use

Marine engine reduction gears and certain other ship-board applications, where specialist lubricants are not required.

Medium-speed engines burning residual fuel need very specialized lubricants. Heavy fuels contaminate the oil with

asphaltenes, requiring special types of detergency to avoid sludges. The combustion of high sulphur fuels produces

sulphur acids, which cause high wear rates of piston rings and cylinder liners unless neutralized by a high basicity

reserve in the oil. The oil is in service for very long periods, so centrifugal separators are used to remove water and

combustion contaminants from the oil. Medium-speed engine oils must be specially designed to release these

contaminants in the separator.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES Engine cleanliness

Has built a reputation over many years for very good engine cleanliness

Rapid neutralization of acidic combustion products Gives long-term protection against corrosion of ferrous and non-ferrous metals

Thermal stability and resistance to oxidation provides excellent high temperature deposit control and contributes to long oil life

Suitability for centrifugal separators high detergency/low dispersancy formulation releases contaminants and water readily in centrifugal

separators.

Specifications and Approvals

PREMIUM GLYCOL TYPE AUTOMOTIVE BRAKE FLUID

Performance Features MACH Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 is a premium glycol type automotive brake fluid. It is recommended for use

in hydraulic disc and drum brake systems requiring a fluid which meets the DOT 4 performance standards. MACH

Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 has a high Equilibrium Reflux Boiling Point. This reduces the chance of vapor

lock. The brake fluid forms an essential component in the braking system of a car. In service, the brake fluid

absorbs moisture which causes a significant reduction in the boiling point of the brake fluid, with a consequent risk

of vapor lock. Thanks to its higher boiling point, MACH Brake Fluid (DOT 4) offers additional safety margin

against water pick up. MACH Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 is compatible with all the materials in the brake

system.

Product Description and Application MACH Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 is a premium quality brake and clutch fluid with a minimum boiling point

exceeding SAE J1703 and United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Nr.116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 and ISO

4925 specifications. MACH Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 should be changed every two years. The ability

MACH Brake Fluid PREMIUM DOT 4 to absorb a certain amount of moisture reduces the likelihood of cylinder
