Setting up and disconnecting
Setting upPosition the TF 18EL32 in an area that is as central as possible.Position the machine so that the airintake is not obstructed. Minimumdistance from wall is 0.5 m. Release the air distributor and stretch it out using the springs provided.
Connecting to power supplyThe machine must be connected to a 3-phase, 400 V, 32 A supply with aresidual current detector.
To switch on the machine, turn thepower switch. The air distributor is stabilized mostquickly by starting at max. fan speed.
The maximum temperature is obtained by turning the thermostat knob fully clockwise. The thermostat has a working range of approx. 8–32°C.
DisconnectingTurn the power switch anticlockwiseto switch off the machine. Then unplug the power cable.Fold up the air distributor and secureit in the collapsed position. The machine can now be moved.

Product description
The TF 18EL32 consists basically of a powder-coated steel chassis, wheelsand air distributor.
Inside the chassis are electricalheaters, a fan and replaceable filter.
The TF 18EL32 draws in air through the vent on the side of the machine. The air is then led through the fan and then past the electric heaters, which heat the air. Finally, the air is forced out through the air distributor.
To get the best drying and heating results the machine should be placed as close as possible to the centre of the premises where heating is required. The machine has two fan speeds. The lower setting is intended to givea higher air temperature whenstarting up in cold spaces.
The machine is connected to a (18 kW) 32A socket. It is very important that the machineruns continuously to achieve thebest drying and heating results.

Operation and control
Setting the air temperature:The maximum temperature isobtained by turning the thermostatknob fully clockwise. The thermostat has a working range of approx. 8–32°C.
Resetting the thermal cut-out:The thermal cut-out is reset bypressing the RESET button on thecontrol panel. If the alarm is triggered repeatedlycheck the filter and air distributor.
Filter replacement:Replace the filter around every 4weeks. Turn off the machine anddisconnect the power cable(s). Open the door and replace the filter. Close the door and reconnect the power cable(s). Switch the machine back on.

Looking after the machine
Warning! To eliminate the risk of injury, always disconnect from theelectricity supply before carryingout any service work.
The following points should bechecked by the operator.
- Keep your machine in good condition by looking after it regularly.- Always check the main functions of the machine before using it.- Check the electrical connections, electrical distribution board and any joining cables.- Check that there are no loose screws and that all the parts are fitted correctly.- Make sure there are no defective parts that could affect safety.- If any unusual sounds or vibrations occur, switch off the machine immediately and make sure the fault is rectified before switching the machine on again.- Replace the filter every 4 weeks in continuous operation or when the filter is clogged and there is a significant reduction in air flow.- Never use a damaged machine.- Always mark a faulty machine with a sign saying “not to be used” until it has been repaired.
Safety precautions
1. The fabric air distributor mustbe fitted with the springs in place. This is to ensure that the machine and distributor do not overheat when shutting downsuddenly after operating at fullpower.Similarly, the machine should not be operated without the air distributor in place.
2. Keep the working area clean.Untidy working areas andmachines increase the risk ofaccidents.
3. Lock the machine’s wheels.Lock the wheels so the machinecannot roll away.
4. Residual current detectorConnect the power cable to adistribution box with a residualcurrent detector and a 32 A fuse.
5. Never open the inspectiondoor during operation.Always disconnect the power before you open the door.
6. Do not mishandle the powercable.Do not jerk the power cable out of the power socket. Do not subject it to high temperatures, oil or sharp edges.
Cleaning- Always replace the filter after use.- To clean the exterior, use a mild detergent solution and a damp cloth.- Blow dust out of the interior of the machine using air, and then wipe with a damp cloth.- Never use any solvents near the machine that are flammable or present a fire hazard.
NOTE!All repairs to electrical componentsmust be carried out by a suitablyqualified electrician.
Transport and storage Secure the air distributor beforemoving the machine. The machine can then be moved. The machine must be anchored to the vehicle during transport. When the machine is not in use it must be stored dry indoors.
7. Look after the machinecarefully.Keep it clean. Check the electrical distribution board and power cables whenever you start up or disconnect the machine. Replace defective parts.
8. Using extension cables.Only use cable that is approved and labelled for outdoor use.
9. In an emergency.Turn off the power at the powerswitch or pull out the power cable.
10. The machine gets hot.The top of the machine gets hot(80°C) during normal operation.
NOTE!The machine is solely intended fordrying and heating premises on atemporary basis. All other uses areprohibited. When you use electrical equipmentyou should always follow basicsafety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, burns or other personal injury.Read the instructions before youswitch on the machine and thensave the instructions to ensure safe operation.

Troubleshooting
The machine will not start• Check that the fuses on the nearest electrical distribution board are OK.• Make sure the thermal cut-out has not tripped.
The machine does not blow out enough air• Check the filter to make sure it is not clogged.
There is no hot air• Set the heater control to max.• Make sure the thermal cut-out has not tripped.
ScrappingWhen the machine is scrapped all the parts must be sorted and sent to an appropriate recycling centre.
Guarantee
Each TF 18EL32 is carefully checkedand tested before it leaves the factory. If a fault should occur, please returnthe complete machine, freight-paid,to El-Björn, Depågatan 6, SE-334 33 Anderstorp, Sweden.
