Current Statistics for MacLeod Public School
• Enrolment at October 31, 2011 –
563 students, JK to 8
• Number of staff - 43, plus 4 daycare staff
• Annex, Main Building and modulars are a total of 47,878 square feet
• Approximately 50 parking spaces
• Play area is 115,100 square feet
• No separate bus layby or loading zone

• Dedicated daycare space consists of one classroom (16 toddlers)
• The Before and After daycare program operates out of shared space with the school
• The Hub is operating after hours in shared space with the school and the Hub office is located at Lockerby Composite School

• Anticipated completion date of fall 2013
• Build a school for 600 pupil places
• Approximately 69,000 square feet
• Full daycare with a mix of infants, toddlers and preschoolers for a total of 49 children
• The Hub office will be relocated from Lockerby Composite School to the New Green School
• Designed to allow for future expansion

• The main entrance to the school will be off Walford Road with a separate bus layby off Laval Street and exiting off Walford Road

Temporary Accommodation
JK to Grade 2 students as well as the daycare will remain at the Annex.
Grades 3 to 8 students will be relocated to the Wembley site as of Monday, March 19th until the completion of the project.
Transportation
Regular bus routes will be maintained. In the morning, students will be dropped off at the Annex and the bus will then continue to the Wembley site.
In the afternoon, students will be picked up at the Wembley site, then proceed to the Annex.
