Skiing, not just a winter sport. The Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area is located on the border between the Trentino and Lombardy regions and is open for skiing from autumn through spring on the Presena glacier at an altitude of 3,000 meters (9,850 ft). Pontedilegno-Tonale has 28 lifts serving 100 km (62 mi) of ski runs, all interconnected and packed with snow, thanks to the high altitude and an artificial snow system covering the entire ski area. The advanced Paradiso ski run is one of the most amazing of all the Alps and runs from the summit of the glacier all the way down to Ponte di Legno.
