Price: the ‘higher sophisticatedness’ and indie style of the magazine is reflected in the price, more expensive than publicarions.

Target audience: Generally teenagers however the target audience is rather broad as there are many outlets of Kerrang! (TV channel/radio) and can spread who’s interests are rock/metal music

Cover lines: Name of the band, ‘2011’s rising rock stars’ , generally promoting the band in huge letters, in case you don’t know who they are.

Colour: Blues, blacks and pinks reflect the softer style of the music of the band in contrast to other bands this magazine features (slipknot ect.)

Barcode: Situated at the bottom of the page with the price.

Price: £2.20, it comes out weekly so it could technically be ‘pocket money’ price.

Tagline: There is no slogan/tagline but that doesn’t affect the amount of people that want to buy it (the TV channel/has one ‘Life is loud’)

Language: Informal yet informative about what’s in the magazine
