Welcome to Homebid MagazineHelping you find a home in SouthamptonHomebid gives you choice about where you want to live. You decide which properties you would like to be considered for.

If you are currently waiting on the council’s Housing Register, you should have received a letter about Homebid. You can pick up a User Guide at Gateway. The User guide contains the information you need to know in order to ‘bid’ for a new home.

Homebid magazine is produced every fortnight and is available at various places in the city. The magazine contains adverts for all homes available for bidding. You can look at the adverts and decide whether you want to be considered for any of the properties.

You express your interest in properties by making a bid. A summary of how you can bid for properties can be found in the Homebid User Guide which you can pick up from Gateway, or visit www.southampton.gov.uk/homebid

You will not be able to bid on properties in the Homebid Magazine until you have been accepted on to the Housing Register.
