Production Guidelines Two ways to submit your ad: • submit your ad as a “rip-ready” digital file, or• Common Ground can design your ad – contact us for details.“Rip-ready” digital files should be in eps or pdf press format. Production work required on ads, including ads not “rip-ready”, are billable. There is a charge of $80/hr for additional production work.Additional production specifications available upon request, or online atwww.commonground.ca/specs.shtml

Technical RequirementsAll ads must be provided as digital files by email or FTP. Materials received after deadline are considered out of spec, and reproduction on press cannot be guaranteed. Call for complete specification sheet.

ColourFull colour is FREE on all ads.

PositionFor special guaranteed position – add 20%.

Insertions & Flyer DistributionEarly Bird prior to 8 weeks notice. Inserts must be delivered to Common Ground bindery house prior to bindery date. Standard prices based on a 8”x10” insert size. Other sizes subject to our approval. Charge for additional pages and weight apply. Call for prices.

Advertising DeadlineDeadline to book space is the 15th of the month prior to the next edition. If you have missed the deadline, please call the office immediately. We are here to serve you and all reasonable requests will be honoured.

Terms of PaymentPayment is due by Ad Reservation deadline. Interest of 2% per month is charged on unpaid accounts after 30 days. There is a 5% discount for prepayment in full for 12x contract. Accredited agency commission is 15% on 1x rate only when paid by deadline. (No other discounts apply.) Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Editorial ConsiderationsIt is clearly understood and agreed that advertising and editorial are separate and independent and that no special consideration of any kind shall be part of the advertising sales agreement.

CancellationsRequests for ad cancellation must be received in writing 30 days before Advertising Deadline and require a short-rate payment for the difference between the frequency discount rate and the one time rate for each time the contracted ad was printed. Covers are not cancellable.

Rate Change PolicyThe publisher reserves the right to change the ad rates at any time during the life of the contract with 21 days notice in writing before Advertising Deadline of the issue. All contracts and insertion orders are subject to these changes.

LiabilityThe maximum liability of Common Ground Publishing Corp. in the event of any error is limited to the ad rate space for that issue. Advertisers are liable for the content of their ad, and are responsible for any costs relating to claims made against Common Ground as a result of said advertisement. Common Ground magazine reserves the right to refuse any advertisementor insert.
