HistoryMagnesium was first found when a farmer

tried to give his cows water. They refused to drink it and later it was found that is was Magnesium in it. It was later discovered by Sir Humphrey Davy in 1755.

The AppearanceMagnesium is a silvery-white, soft metal

which loses its glow when it is exposed to air.

Use No.1One of the uses of Magnesium is in Truck

parts and automobiles. It is usually combined with aluminium. It is used in automobiles because it is strong and light.

mobile phones. It is used in these electronics because it is very light and has good electric and mechanical properties.

Uses No. 3The third use for magnesium is in flashes of

cameras and flares. It is used in flashes and flares because it makes a bright light when heated and is ideal for flares and flashes.
