DMIC in India

► Concept of Delhi – Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)

emerged to optimize on the connectivity being offered by

Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) - between Delhi and

Mumbai.

► It covers an overall length of 1483 km.

► DMIC aims to promote integrated development of

industry and infrastructure in a band of 150 km to 200km

(Influence region).

► The DMIC region will be developed as a ‘Global Trading

and Manufacturing Hub’Maharashtra

DMIC Region covers parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan,Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh besides the NationalCapital Territory of Delhi.
