Associations, AMCA Registered Academy from Maharashtra to participate in the Maharashtra State
Selection Under- 11 (Open & Girls) FIDE Rating Chess Championship 2018 to be held at Indira Gandhi
Sankul, Korit Naka Road, Nandurbar.

14 Jun 2018 at 10.00 AM followed by players meeting and 1st
Round.

ELIGIBILITY
Players Born on or after 01-01-2007 can participate in this tournament.
*PLAYERS MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF THEIR DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE*
ROUNDS & TIME CONTROL
No. of Rounds wills 8. Time control will be 90 Min. + 30 Sec increment from move no. 1 to each player.
SELECTION FOR NATIONAL First Two players from each category i.e. Open & Girls will be selected to
represent the state of Maharashtra in the forth coming U-11 National Chess Championship 2018.

AMCA & AICF REGISTRATION FEE
AICF registration fee Rs. 250 and AMCA registration fee of Rs. 150 for the year 2018 - 19 is must for all
participants and should be done online only.
RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Tournament will be conducted as per Latest FIDE and AICF rules.
2. Other rules will be displayed on Notice board at Venue
3. Spectators (Players who have finished their games, Parents, Managers and Coaches) should stay away
From playing area during the round.
4. General discipline should be maintained at tournament hall and lodging place.
5. Protest, if any, against the decision of the Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.1000/-
Within 15minutes of the occurrence of the incident. Protest fee will be refunded if the appeal sup held.
In case of any dispute Chief Arbiter’s decision will be final.
6. Chief Arbiters decision shall be final and binding to all.
7. To attend the closing ceremony of Championship is mandatory for all the participants.
8. All the prize winners must attend the Prize Distribution Function, if not then prizes will not be handed
Over to anybody else and prize will be forfeited.
9. The organiser reserves the rights to admit or refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof.
They also reserve the rights of admission to the venue.
10. Organizer has every right to make any addition or amendments to their rules, without notice. Such
Changes however displayed in the tournament hall.
LODGING
Dormitory Lodging will be provided to selected Players from affiliated districts. All Selected players are
requested to confirm their entry before 1 Jun 2018, otherwise they have to make their own arrangements.
Note: Selected players will have to bring authorized letter from their respective Districts. All other
participants & accompanying person will have to make their own arrangements.
