“Would You Be Interested In This Film?”

• This question received an overwhelmingly positive response, all people we interviewed showed interest in the film.

• This shows us that our concept is one that would at least be interesting to Sixth-Form boys.

“What Genre Would You Consider This Film To Be?”

• This provoked a varied response, John considered the film a Drama, Josh saw it as a Thriller, and Kamal viewed it as a Mystery.

• This shows us that our concept is open-ended enough to be approached from multiple angles by different people. While the film is intended to be an Arthouse film, this is a genre that is not well known amongst young people and so it was not expected that the people we interviewed would see the film in this way.

“What Changes Would You Make To This Film?”

• This provoked some very interesting responses, John said he would make the film more interesting, Josh claimed he would not change anything, Kamal advised that we include more than one character, as a whole film with only one character could end up being quite boring.

• While Josh’s response is very positive, the constructive comments offered by Kamal and John are useful as they both point towards a desire to make the film more entertaining and accessible, it would be a good idea if we took these criticisms on board, as then we could provoke a positive audience response with the final film for our main task.

“How Would You Rate Your Interest In This Film Out Of 10?”

• With John responding to this question with an 8, Josh giving a 10 and Kamal responding with a 9.5, we have an average interest rating of 9.2/10.

• These responses are very motivational, as they show that people are very interested in seeing our film, this drives us to create the best film possible so not to disappoint them.
