It has been a cool start to winter, and our staff as usual have been busy helping our loyal customers. At Michael Wilson Diamond Jewellers we pride ourselves on customer relations and believe in building an ongoing relationship with our clients as we share in many momentous occasions.

We have a huge range of diamond ring designs on display and believe that we have something for every taste, whether it be classic, contemporary or truly unique. Otherwise our very talented jewellers are more than happy to custom make a piece especially to suit its wearer.

Although the company has grown and changed in many ways since its beginnings some 40 years ago, we carry on the tradition of providing superior quality jewellery design at the most competitive prices, assuring all clients that a feature of buying jewellery from our gallery is our commitment to personal attention and first class service.

Earlier in April we held an evening at the gallery with the very talented Monica Szwaja. It was great to see all of Monica’s fans arrive modelling their favourite Monica jewellery designs. We were very excited at this event, as it was an occasion for us to also see a number of amazing pieces that Monica has recently created. It was a great opportunity for our clients to meet Monica in person and appreciate as much as we do the creativity and passion that she puts into every piece. We were thrilled with the response that we received over Christmas in acknowledgement of our campaign to help save the critically endangered Leadbeater’s Possum. We managed to raise funds and

awareness in support of this tiny creature. It is clear that all of our local clients feel as passionately as we do about our local native icon and making a difference within our environment. For more information regarding the possum and what you can do to help please visit www.leadbeaters.org.au

We also want to take this opportunity to announce that Nina is now on maternity leave until early next year and we are all excited to see whether she has a little girl or boy this July. With Nina’s absence we have taken on a new staff member who we would like to introduce. Paula is a local who has experience with jewellery and will be more than happy to help with any of your enquiries. We are pleased to welcome her to our close team at the gallery.

Pink diamonds are a true rarity. Australia’s Argyle diamond mine is the only mine in the world consistently producing these magnificent gemstones. Only one carat of pink is found in every million carats of diamonds. So rare that a whole years production of Argyle pink diamonds can be cradled in your hand. Rarer still are blue diamonds, which make up less than 0.0001 percent of the world’s diamonds.
