The move was applauded by members of the Makhado community, who expressed their joy and gratitude. The machine has been purchased at the same time when the Municipality has recently allocated a piece of land for the establishment of the new Landfill Site. Handing over the new machine on Tuesday February 4, the Mayor urged residents to take part in ensuring that we create a clean and healthy environment. “It is our responsibility as council to ensure that we protect the environment,” said the Mayor. Makhado Municipality Mayor Cllr David Mutavhatsindi recently officially opened the newly constructed Waterval streets. This came after the municipality injected R6 million for the street surfacing in this Township. Waterval township is one of Makhado’s R392 Towns. “It is a testimony that indeed we are delivering quality services to all our people as Makhado Municipality,” said Mayor Mutavhatsindi, adding that the municipality is committed in taking services to the entire community.
