• STRONG RECOMMENDATION: Make a practice 1 minute version of your talk before you record the full 50-60 minute version. Be sure you have mastered the process before putting time into making the full version!

1. Open PowerPoint. (Steps may vary slightly on Macs and PCs, but they are generally the same.)

2. From the “File” menu, open a “New Presentation”.3. Create all your PowerPoint slides as you normally would.4. Please include slides of your title and a photo of yourself as the

introductory two slides.5. Save repeatedly.6. Go back to the first slide in your slide deck.
