I chose this photo as it was my best medium shot, and followed the rule of thirds as each of the models faces are on the line of the 3rds division. It also has vibrant colours in that which I enhanced using the brightness and contrast tool, and I increased the Hue slightly to give it a vintage yellow effect.

I inserted this photo onto a black A4 sized file, then started adding my masthead, editorial pillars and content. I followed the conventions I had discovered from my exploration of successful contents page magazines, such as this one of Q magazine. I have followed the layout of having the text on the left hand side in one column and the images on the right.

This is my first mock up of my contents page, complete with photos and text. I have used red for the titles of the contents then the different colour of blue for the details of it. Also there is an issue date at the top.
