• Ability to enter time worked, extra time, banked time, etc in a user-friendly web based format. Time entries the employee is allowed to capture are defined by the board office and can be different for each employee group or position code.

• Time entries can be created by the employee, supervisor (on behalf of the employee), or by payroll (on behalf of the employee).

• Timesheet entries are created for each day allowing better data control and reporting for items like Statutory Holiday Pay, ROEs, and historical hours reporting.

• Time entered can be copied to following weeks to make it easier for employees who continually work the same schedule. Once copied, this time can be adjusted for that week.

• Integration with SRB’s HR Absence Module will display absences or replacement time captured through the absence/dispatch process.

• All entries created or modified throughout the timesheet entry process are tracked. These can be viewed or reported on at any time with the Web Timesheet Entry Audit Report. The audit trail records both old and new records making it easy to identify the additions/changes made.

The Timesheet Entry Web module allows employees and supervisors to enter timesheets over the web and submit them electronically for approval and interface to SRB’s payroll system. This product was created for casual staff and support staff who are not part of an exception based payroll. It eliminates the labour intensive data entry that is required with timesheet entry by the payroll department. Most often, the payroll department summarizes the timesheets for data entry due to the time sensitivity of completing the payroll and the details of each day worked are missing in the process.

• Once the timesheet is complete, it can be submitted electronically for approval.

• Approval process can be done for single or multiple timesheets at one time.

• Emails can be sent directly to employees with items that might need correction on their timesheet

• Payroll can run import process at anytime on approved timesheets for that period to create the batch in payroll for processing. Multiple imports can happen during the payroll period as the process will already know which entries it has processed and only send through newly authorized timesheets.

• Payroll department can control when the week closes for the employees entering timesheets. This ensures the integrity of a payroll run once they have closed the week.

• Employee Mass Email process available to remind employees who have not yet submitted their timesheet for the payroll period being processed.

• Payroll can run a report to view employees without timesheets at anytime.
