We all have our own ideas of what HEAVEN will be like.
But a few things we agree on: It will be ; will be
there; we love will be there; and we have to be
to get there!
At first glance the idea that we get to heaven by being good is attractive: it’s ;
it’s a , familiar system; it’s ; and most importantly
we can convince ourselves that we’ll !
But look at it logically and several problems come up with this system:
1) Where do we find a of good and bad by
which to measure? (Not the bible, that’s for sure).
2) Nobody knows where the !
3) It makes a ! Because Jesus says we
will NEVER be .
But He does seem to be all about . Unreasonable, illogical,
irrational, extravagant, undeserved !
As a matter of fact, Jesus taught what no other religious leader in the history of the world has
ever taught: That the people wouldn’t make the cut,
but the would! Because as the thief next
to him found out, Salvation isn’t about what you , but about what Jesus
has . And the only DO we’re left with is to .
And God’s system is incredibly simple and utterly fair:
