ISB 201L - Should DDT Be Used to Control Malaria? - Position Paper Grading Rubric

Your assignment is to conduct research in order to make an informed decision as to whether DDT should be used as a

control mechanism in the fight against malaria. The final write up for this assignment is worth a total of 50 possible

 points. The following is a guide to the point distribution that will be used when assigning a grade to your completedassignment. Each category has been assigned a point value range as indicated. These point values indicate ranges that

will be used when your Instructor Assessment (IA) is completed. To aid you in meeting the assignment requirements, please evaluate and assess your own work with the self-assessment (SA) spaces provided. The self-assessment will

not be used when calculating your grade. This grading rubric should be attached as a cover sheet to the front of your 

 position paper.

The paper is typed, grammatically correct, presented in paragraph format, there are no

quotations, and in-line citation has been used. It is typed using 12 font with double spacing

and margins not exceeding 1” on 8 ½” X 11” paper. A separate title page and reference

section are included that clearly identify all important article information including titles,

sources, dates, and volumes, from a multiple sources. A hardcopy of the paper has beensubmit and an electronic version has been posted on Angel.
