The nearest recompression chambers are located on Bandos Island (15minutesbyspeedboatfromMale)isKuramathicoveringAriAtoll,Kuredhucoveringnorthtrips,andViligilicoveringsoutherntrips.TheMaldivesAggressorIIstaffareunabletoacceptanymedicationbroughtonboardforsafekeepingincludingthose thatrequirerefrigeration.Shouldaguesthaveamedicationrequiring temperaturecontrol,theywillneedtotravelwithatravelcoolingcaseorsmallstoragecoolerwithseveralblueice packets. The yachtswill be happy to store and recharge the blue ice but are unable to acceptpossessionor responsibility for theproper care and storageofmedication.This shouldbekept inyourstateroom.Thereisnosmokingallowedinsidetheyachtoronthedivedeck.Smokingisonlypermittedontherearofthesundeck. THE YACHT The Maldives Aggressor II is built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. She is dieselpoweredandcruisesat12knots,hasabeautifulspacioussalon,sundeck,chaiselounges,deckchairs,bar,grill,andacompletephoto/videocenter.Sheaccommodates22passengersin11staterooms;8stateroomswithasinglebeds,2stateroomswithQueensizebedsand1stateroomwithakingsizebed.Lowerdeckstateroomshaveportholesinthecabinandbathrooms.Upperdeckstateroomshavepicture windows and portholes in bathrooms. definedasinneighboringcountries.ThenortheastmonsoonstartsinJanuaryandgoesthroughtheendofApril.InJanuaryandFebruarythecurrentscanbeverystrongbutthebiganimalactivitycanbefantastic.ThebeginningofJanuarybringsclearwatertomostofthearea,whichcanbeover200feet visibility. Underwater visibility in the Maldives is determined by the tidal movements withincomingandoutgoingtides.Themonsoonpatternshaveasignificantimpactonthediving.FromMaytoOctober,thesouthwestmonsoonbringsmorerain,windandbiganimalaction.MantasandWhaleSharkscanbeseenyearround,howeveraremoreprevalent inApril,May,OctoberandNovember.TherearenocyclonesintheMaldivesbecauseofbeinglocatedattheEquatorlevel.Diving iscarriedout froma"divingdhoni” thatwillnotanchorbutwill followthedivers fromthesurface. This is the safest andmost comfortableway to dive in theMaldives due to thewind andcurrent.Everydiverwillhavehisownseatandhisownbasketwherehewillstorehisdivinggear,which will always remain on the diving dhoni. DIVING SUPERVISION You’vechosenaLiveAboardvacationforthedivingfreedomthat itoffers.While inthewater,youandyourbuddyare incharge. Everydivestartswithadivebriefing fromourstaff.However,asacertified diver, you and your buddy are responsible for planning and conducting your own diveswithin the limitations set forthby thebriefing.Theyacht staffwillbeon thedivedeckprovidingsurfacesupportfordivers.Theywillalsohavestaffinthewaterofferingsupport,u/wphotographyandvideography,andcritterspottingservicesaswell.Onsomedivesitesastaffmemberwillofferto lead a groupandassist them in locating specificpoints of interest.However, theydonot offerdirectsupervisionofdives. Ifyoustartoutwithagroup,as longasyouandyourbuddyremainincontactwitheachotherandareok–youmayfollowyourowndiveplan.Diverswhodesiremorepersonal attention and structured/supervised dives should consider taking one of their numerousspecialtycourses.Anunderlyingskillfeaturedinallofspecialtytrainingisplanning,executing,anddebriefingafteryourdiveinordertobuildamoreconfidentdiver.REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN Some sunscreen ingredients are not safe for corals; these include oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, 4MBC, or butylparaben. Research indicates that these chemicals can cause DNA damage to corals, promote viruses in corals, and contribute to the bleaching of corals. So that we can help protect our reefs, and

because some dive destinations have banned these chemicals, we encourage our guests to choose and use a sunscreen that is "coral safe".
