It was a hot day. A crow was very thirsty. He went about in search of water. He saw a pot of water in a garden. There was a little water in it. The crow thought a plan. He put some tiny stones into the pot. The water came up. He drank the water and flew away. He was very happy.Moral : Necessity is the mother of invention.

2. The Fox and the GrapesOnce there was a fox. He was very hungry. He was in

search of food. He reached in a garden. He saw a bunch of grapes hanging on a vine. He wanted to eat the grapes. He jumped toward the bunch. But he was not able to reach it. It was too high. He jumped again and again. But all in the vain. "He said to himself, “The grapes are sour. I should not eat them”. Then he went away.Moral : The Grapes are sour.
