You thought it would be another boring day until the phone rings and it is your friends, Brett and Taylor. They ask you if you want to go to the mall.

You say, “Fine, but it better not be boring.”

They promise it will be fun. You ponder for a second and wonder what they mean. Finally ring, ring “it’s them!” you scream running to the door.

Run to page 2. Back to Main Menu

You swing open the door and ask them what they meant when they said it wouldn't be boring. Taylor says you’ll find out! Your mom tells you to be back by 2:00. Finally you get there and nothing is wrong. You still wonder what Brett meant, but you don’t ask him. Taylor wants to go to Limited Too, but Brett wants to go to Gags and Gifts. You want to go to the food court.

Your eyes finally open, and you realize you are at the hospital. You see Taylor and Brett and ask them what happened. Taylor tells you it was all a joke. She claims the mall was closed.

“We asked them if we could go in for an hour or so”, Brett said, “We did it all!”

Taylor and Brett ask if they can go to the food court.

You say, “Cool! Lets go.”

Finally you get there and it’s packed. But you want to eat. Quickly you run up to the lines. You want to go to the Chinese restaurant and Arby’s. Which one should you choose? Taylor wants Arby’s, Brett wants Chinese, and you don’t care.

If you want to go to Arby’s eat your way to page 9

You are begging them to come, and then they finally agree. When you arrive it seems like all the stores are deserted because no one is in any store again! You ask them again if this is what they are talking about, but they answer maybe, maybe not. You decide to go to the food court…

As you are running out of the store, you are so scared that you forget your mom said to be back by 2:00. You finally get to the phone and call the police. When they arrive, they take you back to your house.

They come together and decide they actually would rather have Arby’s, so you are very happy. You start eating up your hamburger and you think you are sick. You suddenly pass out. Taylor calls the ambulance, and when they arrive, they tell you it is food poisining.

You walk into Claire’s, and it’s empty. There is not one person walking or ringing up purchases.

You think for a second, “Is this what they were talking about?”

“They said it would not be boring”, you think to yourself.

You are so surprised that you can’t even think about shopping. You walk around for a second and when you turn around they are gone!

Tip Toe to page 13.

“SURPRISE!” All of your friends yell.

You jump and scream, “Wow!” Is this what you were talking about?

“Yes!” they say together.

You decide to walk outside of the store, and there is no sign of them. You are really worried about them and yourself.

“What should I do now?” you think to yourself.

Many ideas start popping into your head, and you don’t know which one to put into action!

You then come up and say, “Actually, I have already been to the Disney Store one hundred times!”

Brett replies, “You’re out numbered, so we’ll go there.”

When you get there you can see shadows and hear noises.

“What is that?” you ask.

They tell you it was nothing, but you know they are hiding something now.

Quickly run to page 12.

You agree to go to their store. When you arrive, you are so happy because someone is standing there! However, in a couple of minutes everyone starts leaving until no one is in the store but you. The lights suddenly flash on and off.

Quickly move to page 13.

…and you still can’t see anyone anywhere. You start thinking that this is something suspicious.

Then Taylor says in a small voice, “1,2,3, Go.”

Suddenly all of your friends jump out and say, “SURPRISE! We tricked you.”

They all start laughing and you do too!

Finally you agree to go to Gags and Gifts. When you get there, no one is around. No cashier, no shoppers. You are very surprised, but you can tell Taylor and Brett do not look surprised. You wonder if this is what they were talking about again because you can tell they are not scared.

Taylor says, “Let’s check out Limited Too.”

“Brett says, “Lets check out the Electronic Store.”

You want to go to the Disney Store.

You finally decide you want to go look for them. You walk all over the mall, and there is still no sign of them. Then you start to hear something.

It is not Taylor or Brett, and it starts sounding closer and closer. You see a shadow moving farther away from you. It runs away until you can’t see it anymore, but you are suddenly knocked out!

 

Move quickly to page 3

… you get really scared! All of the doors start closing, and you can’t get out! You, Taylor, or Brett don’t talk because you are all freaked out!

Taylor decides she wants Chinese anyway. You and Brett jump up and down with excitement. Finally you get your food, and it comes with a peanut.

Brett says, “I just love peanuts,” and he starts to eat it. He suddenly starts choking on the little peanut.
