DisastersEmergencyAppealforpeoplefeeingMyanmarCTSRwillbeorganisingacoffeemorningonFriday13Octoberfrom10.00-12.00atStMichael’sChurch,Maltontoenablepeopletodonatetotheappeal.“Inrecentweeks,morethanhalfamillionpeople,mostlyRohingyawomenandchildren,havesoughtrefugeinBangladeshfromviolenceinMyanmar’sRakhinestate.ThethirteenDECmembercharitieshavecometogethertocallforfundstorespondtotheseverehumanitarianneedsofthoseaffected.MoneyraisedwillsupporttheireffortstoreachpeoplefleeingMyanmaraswellastheirhostcommunitiesinBangladesh."ChurchHarvestenvelopesPleasereturnyourenvelopefor“AllWeCan”attheHarvestFestivalServiceon8Octoberorassoonaspossibleafter.ChristmasLunchThelunchwillbeonWednesday6DecemberatIrtonGardenCentre.MenuswillbeavailablefromRogerorRosemary.Orders,witha£5depositperheadshouldbereturnedassoonaspossible,andnolaterthanSunday5November.
