Target Group:We are living in a green world, there is no doubt about that. Being that Mamba is already a vegan friendly candy, I want to appeal to that target market. The package will be designed with the environment in mind as well as get a modern look. Target market is teen-young adult age 13-21.

Brief History:Mamba is one of Storck’s oldest brands. Your Mom and Dad, and even your Grandma and Grandad,used to eat Mambas. The refreshing fruity chews were invented in Germany in the early 1950s.Throughout its 50+ year history, Mamba has always kept up with the times. The ingredients andpackaging are constantly subject to further development. That’s why the delicious strawberry,raspberry, lemon and orange chews are now famous beyond Germany, including in many Europeancountries, in America and in Asia. And it’s no wonder: everyone loves Mamba!Mamba is a refreshing fruit chew candy that comes in four different flavors: strawberry, raspberry,lemon and orange. It doesn’t matter whether you choose Mamba in a stick pack or bag: Mambasalways taste fantastically fruity and sweeten up any adventure.And by the way, sharing the candy with your friends makes Mamba twice as much fun. Why not swap candies so that you always get your favorite flavor?

Big Idea:The big idea for redoing Mamba’s packaging is to update a rather plain look as well as redesign how the package functions. The main goal for the redesign is to make a package made out of environmentally friendly materials that are recyclable as well as produce less waste.

Advertising:

The advertising for the new Mamba candy package is to highlight the 100% recyclable package as well as producing less waste. In efforts to promote this as well as recycling and producing less waste, paper recycling bins will be placed in city parks and city sidewalks with the logo as well as the new package pattern printed on them.
