Basic Idea

▪ The Intelligent Asset Accounting 4.0 supports all currencies of G/L

▪ Remove redundancy in FI-AA configuration and dramatically simplify the remaining set of IMG activities/pre-configured cloud content

▪ Depreciations areas for parallel currency become obsolete – each depreciation area is handled in all currencies which are defined in itsassigned ledger automatically

▪ New entity “Valuation View” is introduced (Ledger/Depreciation Area vs. Accounting Principle/Valuation View) on global scale, thus a corporatevaluation only needs to be defined once instead of n-times per chart of depreciation

▪ The validity of depreciation keys is defined per accounting principle

▪ New simplified account determination (exposed via SSCUI)

▪ All settings have to be done either per ledger or accounting principle depended on their nature

▪ Status tables will be decoupled form customizing tables (see app “Make Company Code Settings”)

▪ Removal of internal items for statistical depreciation areas (move from table FAAT_DOC_IT to ACDOCA)

▪ New reporting via New Fiori Analytical apps (fully HANA enabled)

▪ New asset master record in visually appealing Fiori UI

▪ API for new asset master record

▪ Improved CO settlement: settlement per ledger, simplified logic (cap. key), renewed interface, better reporting
