Management of Schools Overview

The Governing body of a school expends significant resources (both human & material) in establishing an

institution of learning. From ideation till the institute comes into physical existence, significant effort and

planning is necessary in identifying and bringing together the various constituents that make a good

institute. These include, identification of location, preparation of vision & philosophy, layout and structural

design, construction, hiring of administrators, teachers and support staff, affiliation and accreditation,

curriculum selection and/ or design, marketing and positioning, formulation of policies and practices,

procedures and code of conduct, etc.

Even after all the ingredients of a successful school have been brought together with care, love and

dedication; consistent efforts are required to assess, upgrade and realign practices, skill up-gradation of

teachers, curriculum evaluation, etc. In the 21st century, good schools are constantly striving to removesystemic inefficiencies.

Venturelab specializes in managing schools on behalf of both public and private operators. We provide a

wide range of services customized to the needs of the school. Our solutions are designed to enhance the

profile and practices of school and to help adopt teaching-learning practices aligned to the school’s vision

and philosophy.

Vision

School Education is magical. It fascinates, transforms lives and sculpts futures. It comes in various

shapes and forms, daring us — at Venturelab, to continually raise the bar.

We know that K-12 education can be better, but many people don’t know what better looks like. We

recognize that for innovations to spread, educators and parents, as well as business and community

leaders, must first see and understand the changes and opportunities.

Our vision is of a new world of learning, a place where student and parents, teachers and administrators,

policy makers and the people they serve are all empowered to change education for the better; a place

where schools provide rigorous project-based learning, social-emotional learning, and access to new

technology; a place where innovation is the rule, not the exception; a place where students become

lifelong learners and develop 21st-century skills, especially three fundamental skills:

how to find information how to assess the quality of information how to creatively and effectively use information to accomplish a goal

A school planned by Venturelab is a place of inspiration and aspiration based on the urgent belief that

improving education is the key to the survival of the human race. We provide not just the vision for this

new world of learning but the real-world information and community connections to make it a reality. We

enable the creation of a better future across the globe by providing transformational and innovative

solutions for the entire education continuum of K-12.

Methodology

We can set up joint ventures and manage schools that will raise standards, improve educational

outcomes, professionalize teacher CPD, and deliver value for money. Increased business efficiencyenables schools to focus on student learning. Our management enables education systems to achieve

greater ROI on resources.

Our Company is dedicated to improving the K-12 learning process by documenting, disseminating, and

advocating innovative, replicable, and evidence-based strategies that prepare students to thrive in their

future education, careers, and adult lives.

We pursue our mission through fourprimary sets of activities:

1. Producing social media to inspire, inform and accelerate positive change in schools and districts

by shining a spotlight on evidence-based strategies that improve learning and engagement forstudents. We strive to bring holistic learning experiences by merging pedagogical understanding

with practitioner's insight.

2. Growing a movement of change agents who share best practices and professional development

to bring innovation to education and improve student achievement. We collaborate with

researchers, teacher leaders and curriculum experts to provide more evidence to transform

learning.

3. Developing skills and expertise of teaching staff. J ust as professionals in medicine, architecture,

and law have opportunities to learn through participating in internships and learning best

practices, exemplary teacher-preparation programs allow teacher candidates the time to spend in

classrooms with experienced mentors. Teacher-preparation programs provide educators-to-be

with hands-on experience they'll need once they begin their career.

4. Employing universally accepted pedagogical research to create relevant and easily usable

educational tools and aids for the benefit of Children, Teachers, Principals and other

Stakeholders in the school. Several of our unique applications are being widely used throughout

the world.

To maintain their niche and cutting edge, schools need to keep abreast with what works and what doesn’t

with regard to research and innovation, adoption of best practices and enhancement of learning within the

organization. We facilitate in-service professional development of school staff and administrators in

accordance with the needs of the school/program. Our Good to Outstanding classroomsupport and

Centres of Excellence provide teachers with the support, encouragement and confidence to enhance

their in-class and outside-class effectiveness, through a series of personalized, objective-driven and

result-oriented reflective sessions and the development of in-school repository of capabilities. To improve

efficiency of learning practices and to maintain competitive advantage, schools, on a periodic basis,

reassess and realign processes, mechanisms and methodologies. We assist schools in creating &

streamlining work processes, including design and implementation, delivery and evaluation systems, and

recording and reporting systems.
