The certification mark may be enlargedor reduced

The size of the certification mark should

be in proportion to the size of yourcompany-logo

Minimum sizeThe minimum reduced size is 15 mmwide (figure 1) This is the minimum sizeat which numbers and letters are legible

Maximum sizeThe maximum size of the certificationmark should be such that it does notpredominate over the size of thecompany logo It is recommended thatthe size of the certification mark shouldnot exceed one-third or one-half theheight of the surface to which it is affixed

Please noteThe certification mark may be usedin such a way that

It is the same height as the companylogo (figure 2)

The space between the DNV GL logoand the blue line is the same height asthe company logo (figure 3)

Even when the company logo is v erysmall the certification mark must be atleast 15 mm high (figure 4)

The distance between the company logoand the certification mark must not beless than the base width ofthe certification mark (figures 2-3-4)This rule must be applied even when thecertification mark is placed below the

certified companyrsquos logo (figure 5)

accreditation mark is permitted forholders of certificates issued by anaccredited certification body Use of theaccredited mark is governed by the rulesof each respective accreditation body

When using the DNV GL - BusinessAssurance Certification Mark togetherwith an accreditation mark the twoshould always appear in conjunction andlinked with a visual element (eg a frame)Some accreditation bodies governhow the two should be linked Youshould follow the rules of the applicableaccreditation body

If the size of the certified company logois very small the certification mark shouldbe placed at the foot of the letterhead

When letterheads contain the addressesof different branches some of which arenot covered by the certificationthe certification mark may not be usedIn such cases the inscriptionshould be used

with an explanation of which of thecompanyrsquos sites or branches are certified

When a certified company belongsto a Group or is associated with othercompanies which are not certified andboth names appear on the letterheadone of the following solutions must be

adopted

The certification mark is reproducedwith an indication of which company iscertified (preferred solution) (figure 5)

The certification mark is replaced withthe inscription clarifying the certifiedcompany to which the certificationrefers (figure 6)

The certification mark may be enlargedor reduced

The size of the certification mark should

be in proportion to the size of yourcompany-logo

Minimum sizeThe minimum reduced size is 15 mmwide (figure 1) This is the minimum sizeat which numbers and letters are legible

Maximum sizeThe maximum size of the certificationmark should be such that it does notpredominate over the size of thecompany logo It is recommended thatthe size of the certification mark shouldnot exceed one-third or one-half theheight of the surface to which it is affixed

Please noteThe certification mark may be usedin such a way that

It is the same height as the companylogo (figure 2)

The space between the DNV GL logoand the blue line is the same height asthe company logo (figure 3)

Even when the company logo is v erysmall the certification mark must be atleast 15 mm high (figure 4)

The distance between the company logoand the certification mark must not beless than the base width ofthe certification mark (figures 2-3-4)This rule must be applied even when thecertification mark is placed below the

certified companyrsquos logo (figure 5)

In some cases it may be required orpreferred to use the certification markin conjunction with the appropriateaccreditation mark Use of the

accreditation mark is permitted forholders of certificates issued by anaccredited certification body Use of theaccredited mark is governed by the rulesof each respective accreditation body

When using the DNV GL - BusinessAssurance Certification Mark togetherwith an accreditation mark the twoshould always appear in conjunction andlinked with a visual element (eg a frame)Some accreditation bodies governhow the two should be linked Youshould follow the rules of the applicableaccreditation body

On letterheads and following pages thecertification mark must be positionednear the company-logo (figure 1) or onthe baseline (figure 2)

If the size of the certified company logois very small the certification mark shouldbe placed at the foot of the letterhead

When letterheads contain the addressesof different branches some of which arenot covered by the certificationthe certification mark may not be usedIn such cases the inscriptionshould be used

with an explanation of which of thecompanyrsquos sites or branches are certified

When a certified company belongsto a Group or is associated with othercompanies which are not certified andboth names appear on the letterheadone of the following solutions must be

adopted

The certification mark is reproducedwith an indication of which company iscertified (preferred solution) (figure 5)

The certification mark is replaced withthe inscription clarifying the certifiedcompany to which the certificationrefers (figure 6)

If your companyrsquos logo is v ery large asit may be when displayed on the side ofa trailer it is recommended that there issufficient space around the certificationmark and that the certification mark doesnot cover more than 13 to 12 of theheight of the surface to which it is affixed

The certification mark may be enlargedor reduced

The size of the certification mark should

be in proportion to the size of yourcompany-logo

Minimum sizeThe minimum reduced size is 15 mmwide (figure 1) This is the minimum sizeat which numbers and letters are legible

Maximum sizeThe maximum size of the certificationmark should be such that it does notpredominate over the size of thecompany logo It is recommended thatthe size of the certification mark shouldnot exceed one-third or one-half theheight of the surface to which it is affixed

Please noteThe certification mark may be usedin such a way that

It is the same height as the companylogo (figure 2)

The space between the DNV GL logoand the blue line is the same height asthe company logo (figure 3)

Even when the company logo is v erysmall the certification mark must be atleast 15 mm high (figure 4)

The distance between the company logoand the certification mark must not beless than the base width ofthe certification mark (figures 2-3-4)This rule must be applied even when thecertification mark is placed below the

The certification mark may be enlargedor reduced

The size of the certification mark should

be in proportion to the size of yourcompany-logo

Minimum sizeThe minimum reduced size is 15 mmwide (figure 1) This is the minimum sizeat which numbers and letters are legible

Maximum sizeThe maximum size of the certificationmark should be such that it does notpredominate over the size of thecompany logo It is recommended thatthe size of the certification mark shouldnot exceed one-third or one-half theheight of the surface to which it is affixed

Please noteThe certification mark may be usedin such a way that

It is the same height as the companylogo (figure 2)

The space between the DNV GL logoand the blue line is the same height asthe company logo (figure 3)

Even when the company logo is v erysmall the certification mark must be atleast 15 mm high (figure 4)

The distance between the company logoand the certification mark must not beless than the base width ofthe certification mark (figures 2-3-4)This rule must be applied even when thecertification mark is placed below the

certified companyrsquos logo (figure 5)
