Shoot plan [1]1) The shoot will take place in Manchester city center, outdoors and

indoors. (4 each)

2) I will need to use several different types of shots, such as close ups, long shots, extreme close ups and wide shots.

3) I will need a DSLR camera and a macro lens

4) I will be using natural lighting and lighting used from inside buildings if necessary

5) Manchester is a good place to take photos

6) The alternative is if it’s raining we’ll just take indoor shots

Contextual Influences1) I will find 3 different photographers and

research their work so I know what to look for when taking photographs.

2) I will create a Powerpoint slide for each photographer

3) Andrew Brooks, Peter Lik and Henri Cartier-Bresson

[1] Andrew BrooksBrooks’ photography is typically shot at an angle and uses a wide shot of an area or and extreme wide shot of a city, and is usually edited quite heavily to get the right contrast of colors in the photo.

[2] Peter LikPeter Lik’s photography work loves to use wide open areas and shots, specifically natural areas such as beaches and lakes, and is edited a lot in order to create such a vibrant coloring effect, using it so the colors are extremely bright.
